In a classic case of ‘be careful what you tweet sarcastically about with conference organizers’ it turns out that the price for suggesting that I could be one of their MC’s is that I will now also be on the hook for giving a talk. Time to start making bio notes about some of the amazing speakers I’ll get to introduce and stocking up on font jokes and other such witty banter.
