Before undertaking any redesign or major development effort, it pays to make sure you’re doing the right work. For years I’ve been an advocate of starting with the ‘why’—and being sure that the true goals and challenges are understood—before ever opening a design application or writing a line of code. Having run dozens of workshops with attendees from two to twenty, it has proven every time that the foundations laid through this kind of work are essential for a successful outcome. And for ensuring that it’s the outcome you really need!

Having spent over 20 years making large-scale websites, there is a long list of lessons-learned. From them—and building upon the strategy workshops—I can help ensure that your information architecture, content model, and overall user experience will be in line with your goals, user needs, and technology platform. I've also had over ten years’ experience with the Drupal platform, and have architected dozens of enterprise and higher-ed projects on large teams and small.
